Adrian Stiff

Adrian Stiff is a British golf course architect and former partner at Swan Golf Designs. He has reflected that he "previously made courses too long and tough for ordinary golfers" and discussed balancing elite design features such as significant forced carries with accessibility for varying abilities. He originally designed Forest Hills Golf Club in Gloucestershire in 1990 as a Par 68. In 2012 he formed SAS Golf Design with Ben Stephens. Stiff specialises in courses that harmonise with the natural landscape while providing strategic challenges and respecting environmental considerations.
