Ben Sayers Jr

Ben Sayers Jr was the son of Scottish golfer and architect Ben Sayers (1856–1924). In 1913 he joined his father's business, which manufactured golf clubs and designed courses. Young Ben was an accomplished golfer, representing Scotland internationally. By 1934 the Ben Sayers brand was growing and the business expanded. Alterations to North Berwick's West Links in 1932 were likely carried out by Ben Sayers Jr, as his father had died in 1924. The family continued golf architecture work including the East course at North Berwick, Moffat, Rothesay, and Adare Manor.
