Clive Clark

Clive Clark (b. 1945) is an English professional golfer turned golf course architect who has produced over 33 award-winning courses in America and Europe. He finished third in the 1967 Open, won five professional events, and studied architecture in London before serving as Head Professional at Sunningdale for nearly 20 years. Clark met Peter Alliss on the BBC golf commentary team and formed the design partnership Alliss Clark. Their work reflects Clark's combination of competitive experience and architectural training. Notable projects span the UK and continental Europe.
