Jonathan Gaunt

Jonathan Gaunt is a British golf course architect based in Sheffield, running Gaunt Golf Design since 2006. He graduated from Leeds Metropolitan with an Honours Degree in Landscape Architecture and began at St Andrews on the Jubilee Course renovation. His portfolio includes over 30 new courses and 80 restorations across the UK, Ireland, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, USA, Morocco, and Argentina. He has restored courses by Alister MacKenzie, Harry Colt, John Abercromby, Willie Park Jr., and Tom Simpson. Gaunt is an EIGCA member since 2000 and works with The Club Company on premium UK country clubs.
