Ken Brown

Ken Brown (b. 1957) is an English professional, broadcaster, and golf course architect. He played in five Ryder Cups (1977–87), won four European Tour events plus wins on the US and Safari circuits. Brown is best known as a BBC commentator—"Ken on the Course"—providing close-up looks at course features. Before turning professional he spent six months as a greenkeeper at Harpenden Common. He has been involved in golf course design including Aldwickbury Park and Harpenden Common, and regularly collaborates with Ken Moodie on course projects. His greenkeeping experience informs his commentary.
