Aberfoyle Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Perth & Kinross. The club was first formed in 1890.
The golf course at Aberfoyle was extended to 9 holes in 1890, commissioned by the Duke of Montrose, and is located at the southern border of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Initially, the course had 60 men and 29 lady members, and the initial annual subscription was set at 10 shillings.
In the 1980s, Aberfoyle Golf Course was expanded to 18 holes by the Members, utilizing the natural terrain which necessitated only eight bunkers to maintain its challenges. The course ownership was transferred to the Club from the Forestry Commission in 1990 to ensure its security. The original timber clubhouse still overlooks the 18th green, but a new one was built in 1973 and extended in 1990; along with other major enhancements to club facilities.
