About: Atherstone Golf Club

Atherstone Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Warwickshire. The club was first formed in 1894.

Atherstone Golf Course was established in 1894 and is designed across what has been recognized as high-quality natural golfing terrain. The course spans 6012 yards, is a par 72, and features undulating fairways and multiple blind shots.

Notable for producing a significant number of professional golfers, including three Ryder Cup players — Bernard Hunt, Geoff Hunt, and Paul Broadhurst — the Atherstone Golf Course is known for its challenging layout where each of the 18 holes offers a distinct design. Steve Webster, a two-time winner on the European Tour, also honed his skills at this course during his junior years.

The course is fairly quirky, with blind shots and sloping fairways; with links style tight turf. Not everyone will love it, but it is sure to make a golfer feel something, it is certainly not boring!

Visitors are welcome at Atherstone Golf Club. To book a tee time, call 07718571457 Monday to Friday between 8am and 12am. You can also check course availability on 01827 713110 option 3.
