Ballinascorney Golf Club

Ballinascorney Golf Club, located in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, the club was founded in 1971 and initially established at Bohernabreena, County Dublin. It is recognized for offering one of the most enjoyable 9-hole golf experiences in the country, catering to golfers of all skill levels.

In 2002, the club relocated to Kilmashogue Lane in Rathfarnham. This move began a new chapter, with the club committed to improving the course. A significant redevelopment in 2011 introduced new greens, tee-boxes, and two additional par 5 holes, further enhancing the golfing challenge.

The original Ballinascorney Golf Course was crafted as a 9-hole design by the founding members of the club. The terrain's natural undulation provided inherent challenges, which were retained when the course expanded to 18 holes in the 1980s.

The course underwent further expansion after 2007 with the acquisition of additional land. This allowed for the development of new holes that complemented the existing course features, broadening the scope of play while respecting the course’s original design ethos.
