Beau Desert Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Staffordshire. The club was first formed in 1911.
Beau Desert Golf Course was founded on September 30, 1911, when Mr. Lindop, who later became the first President of the club, agreed to the establishment of the course on 'hills at the back of the church' owned by the Marquess of Anglesey. Initially, a nine-hole course was laid out by renowned designer William Herbert Fowler, as reported by Golf Illustrated on November 22, 1912.
The course was expanded to 18 holes that were completed before the outbreak of World War I and were intended for use by both the local golfers and the Anglesey family, with its current layout initiated soon thereafter on the present site. With a length of 6,470 yards and a par of 70, the heathland-style course presents an SSS Championship Course rating of 73, incorporating the natural landscape and challenges, with a history reaching back to the early 20th century.
