About: Bedale Golf Club

Bedale Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Yorkshire. The club was first formed in 1894.

Bedale Golf Club's course was established in 1894 on land owned by Sir Henry Beresford Pierse, located amid 18th Century parkland that was once a deer park. The golf course features wide, tree-lined fairways and water hazards on seven holes, offering a challenging yet accommodating experience for all skill levels.

Significant alterations include the relocation to land off the Firby Road in 1932 under the stewardship of John Raper, expansion in 1967 making it an 18-hole course, and an extension to 6,580 yards in 1987 following the purchase of 30 acres and redesign by Hawtrees Golf Architects. The mature trees and natural contours deliver a distinctive character, with the signature 13th hole providing an elevated tee shot over a marshland water hazard.

Green fees at Bedale Golf Club range from £30 to £45 depending on the day of the week and season. Weekday rates are generally lower than weekend rates.

Bookings can be made online or by contacting the pro shop.
