About: Bedlingtonshire Golf Club

Bedlingtonshire Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Northumberland.

The Bedlingtonshire Golf Course is known to have been designed by Dutch course architect Frank Pennink, who was the English Amateur Champion in 1937 and 1938 before his playing career ended due to World War II. His notable design work includes The Old Course at Vilamoura, in addition to modifications at Goswick, Seaton Carew, and several Royal courses such as Royal Lytham and St Annes in 1952, Royal Liverpool in 1966, and Royal St Georges in 1975.

Recognition of the course's quality is evidenced by its inclusion in GolfShakes' '21 Highly Recommended English Golf Courses to Play in 2021' and '30 of the Best English Courses to play in Spring.' Detailed aerial perspectives of the course were documented in flyover footage captured in 2022, providing an overview of each hole from above.
