Berkhamsted Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Hertfordshire. The club was first formed in 1890.
Berkhamsted Golf Course was established in the 1880s by a group of pioneer golfers and officially founded in 1890, with the design of the original nine-hole course advised by former Open Champion Willie Park Jnr. The course later expanded to 18 holes, with significant contributions from golf course designers Harry Colt and James Braid, the latter of whom redesigned seven holes in 1926.
Berkhamsted Golf Course is known for its natural hazards, with no man-made bunkers, and features Grim’s Dyke, an ancient earthwork that impacts play on six holes. Historical trenches from World War I are visible near the seventeenth green, underscoring the course's storied past and its role during both world wars.
