Blackmoor Golf Club

Blackmoor Golf Course was established in 1913 and was designed by the esteemed golf architect Harry Colt. The course is characterized by two loops of nine holes composed from heathland and is featured in the book ‘Creating Classics – The Golf Courses of Harry Colt’.

Significant aspects of the course include the fairways which are bordered by a variety of trees such as heather, pine, birch, and oak. From 1998 to 2003, Blackmoor served as a regional qualifying course for the Open Championship, attracting golfers from international locations.

The Selborne Salver, a prestigious amateur golf tournament, has been hosted at Blackmoor since 1976, emphasizing its recognition in the golfing community. Despite modifications, sixteen of the holes on the course continue to reflect Colt's original design principles.

Visitor green fees range from £82 per person in the winter (November 1st to March 31st) to £120 per person during the summer (April 1st to October 31st).

County Card holders can enjoy a preferential rate of £77 throughout the year. Tee times can be booked 5 days in advance by calling the Pro Shop, and are currently available Monday to Thursday.
