Bradfield College Golf Club

Bradfield College Golf Club's nine-hole course was established in 1998 and inaugurated by former Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallacher. It was designed by Donald Steel, known for his work on major championship courses, including those used in The Open.

The course has been played by numerous European tour winners like Sam Torrance, Ronan Rafferty, Barry Lane, Paul McGinley, and Anthony Wall since its inception. Chris Hacking, a former Club President, made a significant contribution to the development of the course through donations alongside other alumni from the College.

The ethos of the Bradfield Golf Club emphasizes equality for all players, maintaining a dress code that upholds respect for the game. One notable feature is the absence of tee time bookings, offering a more relaxed environment for beginners.

In response to the increasing time constraints of the modern world, the club provides a Performance Studio with Trackman technology, enabling members to practice and play the nine-hole course within a span of 90 minutes.

Practice facilities at Bradfield include an indoor Performance Studio sprawled over 2,000 square feet, a USGA standard putting and chipping green with a Tyrells greenside bunker, and a Huxley four bay practice net. The clubhouse underwent refurbishment and expansion, reopening in November 2017.

Bradfield College Golf Club offers various membership options, including family, adult, and junior levels, with the membership year running from April 1 to March 31. Details and an application form are available on their website.

Winter taster rates are available from January 1st to March 31st, 2025. Adults can play for £50.00, and juniors/youths for £30.00 during this period.
