Bramall Park Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Cheshire. The club was first formed in 1894.
Bramall Park Golf Course was established on November 10th, 1894 by a group of 40 golf enthusiasts who formed the club with an initial membership of 75, utilizing land rented from a local farmer for £30 per year to create the first 9-hole course. The club's relationship with Sir Charles Nevill, the then owner of Bramall Hall, is commemorated through the naming of The Nevill Lounge and The Nevill Challenge Cup, one of the club's board competitions.
Notable course developments include the construction of the current clubhouse in 1923 and the extension of the course after the First World War with the purchase of an additional 99 acres, leading to a redesign by the renowned course architect Alister Mackenzie. Further enhancements were introduced in 1934 after consultation with James Braid, which included the addition of 15 bunkers, the laying of 2000 yards of drainpipe on the 6th fairway, and the planting of poplars along the 10th and 11th fairways.
