Branshaw Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Yorkshire. The club was first formed in 1912.
Branshaw Golf Club's 18-hole course was initially established as a nine-hole course in March 1912. Its unique design is attributed to the efforts of celebrated course architects James Braid and Dr. Alister Mackenzie.
The course is situated five minutes from Haworth in Bronte country and underwent expansion from a nine-hole to an 18-hole course in 1925. Over the years, the club acquired the land from the Duke of Devonshire and made several purchases to enhance the course, with the latest being in 2003.
In 1995, Branshaw Golf Club received a grant of £93,000 from the Lottery Commission, which was used to improve course drainage, significantly enhancing playability. The historical presence of ex-Ryder Cup players Bert Jolly and Alex Caygill as club professionals further adds to the course's distinguished legacy.
