Brora Golf Club is a members' golf club, in North Scotland. The club was first formed in 1891.
Brora Golf Club, established on November 2nd, 1891, following a public meeting, started with a modest membership fee of Two Shillings and Sixpence per annum. The course was initially composed of 9 holes until it was expanded to 18 holes around 1900.
In 1923, James Braid, a five-time Open Champion and renowned golf course designer, was commissioned to redesign the Brora course. After his visit in 1924, for a fee of £25 plus expenses, Braid submitted a redesign for the 18-hole layout, which has remained mostly unchanged to this day, known for offering a fair and challenging test of true links golf.
Green fees vary depending on the season. High Season (Apr-Oct) costs £150. Shoulder season (March and November) are priced at £120 and Low season (December-February) at £90.
Junior green fees are £30. Booking can be made online through the official website. Check the website for the most up-to-date pricing and availability.
