Brough Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Yorkshire. The club was first formed in 1891.
The golf course at Brough Golf Club was established in 1891 following a successful golf shot by R. A. Mossman, which led to a meeting at the Ferry Inn, Brough, where the attendees decided to lay out a 9-hole course. Initially, the club used a wooden "Monkey House" as its Clubhouse on what is now the second green.
The R & A officially recognized Brough Golf Club in 1893, and the course expanded to 18 holes in 1905 after the acquisition of additional land. Further extensions and improvements to the course were made in 1933 and 1955, following which the course retained many features from its early days.
