About: Burghill Valley Golf Club
Burghill Valley Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Herefordshire.
The Burghill Valley Golf Course, was laid out by land owners Pat and Phillida Barnett by 1993. It was designed as an an 18-hole layout, with gently sloping land for easy walking. Consturuction of the course involved the planting of 4,000 trees and the greens were constructed to USGA standards.
The Ellis family bought the club around 2015, with Mark Ellis a local business man acting Managing Director. Mark notes he aims to provide a "welcoming and friendly family run club".
With panoramic views that include Hereford Cathedral, the Malvern Hills, and the Black Mountains, Burghill Valley at 5302 yard and a pa3 67 provides an accessible and peaceful setting for golf.
