Calcot Park Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Berkshire. The club was first formed in 1930.
Calcot Park Golf Course was established following a public meeting in Reading on April 24, 1929, which led to a group of Reading businessmen discussing the purchase of the estate for the purpose of creating a golf course.
The golf course design was entrusted to Harry Colt, a renowned golf course architect, with the course officially opening on August 1, 1930.
One of the standout features of the course is a lake that is notably integrated into the play at the 7th hole.
The course has seen various changes, including the construction of a new clubhouse in 1960 after the Manor House was sold; the new facility was inaugurated by Lord Brabazon of Tara.
Summer green fees are valid from 1st April to 31st October. County Card holders can avail of a discounted rate of £35, valid Monday to Thursday. To book, please email admin@calcotpark.com or call the Pro-Shop at 0118 942 7127 (Option 1).
