Caldwell Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Renfrewshire. The club was first formed in 1903.
The Caldwell Golf Course was established shortly after April 2, 1903, following a meeting where Major William Mure of the Caldwell Estate agreed to provide land for its creation. Major Mure also donated £20 and engaged in preparing the grounds, demonstrating his support for the initiative.
Willie Fernie designed the original layout of the golf course, which was used by golfers just weeks after the club's formation, despite the course's rudimentary condition in its early years. Early maintenance practices included hiring a man to cut grass twice a week and erecting fences around the greens to protect from grazing farm animals.
