Canford School Sports Centre is a members' golf club, in Dorset.
Canford School, where the golf course is located, was established in 1923, with its building history dating back to the Domesday Book of the 1080s. The medieval part, known as John O'Gaunt's, was constructed circa 1400 and is now part of the school facilities.
The Canford estate underwent a major transformation in 1846 by Sir Charles Barry, evident through the Tower and Great Hall additions. Later developments included investments from the sale of an historic Assyrian Frieze, with proceeds used to enhance the school's scholarship fund and facilities in the 1990s.
