Carnwath Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Lanarkshire. The club was first formed in 1907.
Carnwath Golf Club, founded in 1907, was first established as a 9-hole course designed by Open Champion Willie Auchterlonie and was inaugurated by Lady Lockhart on June 29, 1907. The course, located on land known as 'Gallow Hill', west of the village of Carnwath, has evolved over time from its original design.
The expansion to an 18-hole course took place in May 1922, and by 1936, the club had seen over 3,000 annual golfers. Further development included an additional 20 acres leading to a redesign by G.M Clark, with the updated course layout introduced in July 1963, which has undergone minor modern adjustments and continues to challenge golfers of all skill levels.
