Chorlton-cum-Hardy Golf Course was established in 1902 and is situated four miles from the centre of Manchester, adjacent to junction 5 of the M60, making it easily accessible.
The golf course is a parkland style course and presents challenges through its narrow fairways, proximity to the River Mersey, an ancient dyke, the elevated land of Spion Kop, and Barlow Wood. A variety of trees on the course contribute to its rich ecology, supporting diverse wildlife.
