Founded in 1900, Cleckheaton Golf Club's current course was established with a design by the renowned golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie, officially opening on 29th July 1922. The 18-hole parkland course spans 6,155 yards, presenting a par 70 for men and a par 73 for women, offering a challenging experience for golfers at every skill level.

The golf course is strategically positioned near Junction 26 of the M62, south of Bradford, making it highly accessible from Manchester, York, and Sheffield. Aside from the course itself, the club features an indoor Golf Centre with a Simulator and a Teaching Bay, adding to the range of available golfing facilities.

Cleckheaton Golf Club prides itself on its parkland-style golf course that includes a mixture of par 3s and risk-reward holes that cater to longer hitters. The course is part of a private members' club that boasts an active community, a welcoming clubhouse, and a vibrant junior section.
