About: Consett And District Golf Club

Consett And District Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Durham. The club was first formed in 1911.

Consett & District Golf course was formed in 1911 and later redesigned by six-time Major winner Harry Vardon. The course, now measuring 6083 yards following a recent review, features an 18-hole mature parkland layout.

Situated in 100 acres of the Derwent Valley on the border between Durham and Northumberland, the course presents tree-lined fairways and manicured plateau greens. It requires strategic play, offering a challenge due to its layout, hazards, and contours.

Green fees vary depending on the season. From April 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025, visitor weekday rates are £25.00, while weekend rates are £30.00. Twilight rates (after 5pm) are available for visitors playing with a member.

From November 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, visitor weekday rates are £15.00, and weekend rates are £17.00. Bank Holidays are priced at the same rate as weekends.
