Crewe Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Lincolnshire. The club was first formed in 1911.
The golf course at Crewe Golf Club was established in January 1911, originally as a nine-hole course, with the first drive off the tee occurring in May of the same year. The land for the course was leased from the Marquess of Crewe, a founding member, and features a trophy presented by him in 1915 that is still awarded annually.
Designed by James Braid, a distinguished golf architect and Open Champion, the course was laid out to take advantage of the natural landscape to present golfers with interesting and challenging play. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1949 and the land was eventually purchased in 1965, reflecting the efforts of club members to ensure the longevity of their course.
Visitor green fees vary depending on the time of year and day of the week. Summer rates are higher than winter rates. Contact the Professional's shop at 01270 584099 to book a tee time.
County Card holders and members of James Braid courses are eligible for discounted rates. Current rates are valid for 2024.
