About: Denton Golf Club

Denton Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Lancashire. The club was first formed in 1909.

Denton Golf Club features a parkland-style golf course established in 1909, positioned adjacent to A57 with connections to the M60 and M67 motorways. The course was designed by W.J. Leaver, who was the professional at Worsley Golf Club at the time of establishment.

The course initially comprised 9 holes when it opened, but it was expanded to 18 holes in 1910 alongside the construction of the first clubhouse; the extension and facilities were launched by Sir Bosdin Leech, Chairman of the Manchester Corporation Water Works. Denton Golf Club is noted for its mature and well-maintained course that presents a challenge to players of varying skill levels.
