Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club

The Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club was established in 1894, originally as Sydenham Hill Golf Club, with its name changed and membership expanded the following year. Designed by Harry S. Colt, the course is characterized by mature oaks on the slopes of Sydenham Hill and views of Dulwich College and the London skyline.

During its evolution, the course expanded from 6 to 18 holes, with significant developments by Tom Dunn and Willie Park Junior, before reaching its full design by Colt in 1911, though World War I and subsequent challenges periodically affected play and course condition. By 1966 a new clubhouse was established, and improvements including a borehole and sophisticated irrigation system have since ensured year-round playability.

The Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club has witnessed over 125 years of history, enduring two World Wars with notable periods of hardship. The club has been home to professional golfers like Peter Oosterhuis, who was taught there and later achieved significant success in the sport.

Today, the Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club is renowned for its proximity to central London and its panoramic views of the city's skyline. With challenging fairways and greens, the course offers a test to golfers of all skill levels, and visitors can experience the course's storied history and the legacy of its designer, Harry S. Colt.

Green fees are in effect from June 16th, 2025. Holes 1 & 18 are under construction until Mid-June, which reduces green fees during that time.

Twilight rates are available after 4 PM on Tuesdays-Fridays. Weekend and Bank Holiday twilight rates are after 3 PM, subject to availability.
