Dunaverty Golf Club

The golf course at Dunaverty Golf Club, located in Kintyre, Scotland, was established in 1889 by a group of members from the Southend community. Its initial 18-hole layout began on the opposite side of the Burn, at the current 15th hole, and it underwent a full remodel and expansion before World War II, with the first clubhouse placed behind the Wallace Cottages in Southend Village.

Dunaverty Golf Course is designed as a traditional natural links course, featuring sandy terrain that merges the farmland of South Kintyre with the sea, incorporating the flow of the Conieglen Burn and the prominence of Dunaverty Rock. The course experienced disrepair during the war years but was restored thereafter due to the efforts of Colonel Taylor, the son of a founder member, and volunteers, with George MacMillan appointed as the Greenkeeper responsible for the restoration.

Green fees vary depending on the season. From March 29th to October 24th, weekday rounds are £55 and weekend rounds are £60. Junior rates are £10 per round.
