East Clare Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Clare. The club was first formed in 1992.
The golf course at East Clare Golf Club was first established as a 9-hole course with temporary greens, following the purchase of land at Coolreagh Bodyke in 1991. In 1992 it gained official status from the Golfing Union of Ireland, with additional land acquired in 1995-96 for the expansion to an 18-hole championship course, eventually leading to the construction of the clubhouse which opened in July 2001.
Golf architect Arthur Spring was commissioned to design the expanded 18-hole course. Notable features include its central parkland setting, stretching to 6031 meters, and the presence of various water features that are integrated into the course, providing both aesthetic and tactical challenges for players.
Green fees are available seven days a week from 7am to 7pm. To book a tee time, please contact the Golf Shop at 061 921322.
Weekend rates apply on Fridays after 12pm and visitor play is limited to after 12pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
