European Club Golf Club

The European Club, created by Pat Ruddy in 1987, is located 40 miles from Dublin and is designed as a modern links course. It is recognized for its impressive sand dunes, varied terrain, and proximity to the Irish Sea, creating a challenging layout with a distinctive coastal character.

This 20-hole golf course is known for its difficulty, especially when the wind is up, making even the forward tees a challenge for breaking 80. Notable features include penal bunkering, tight driving areas, and a 127-yard deep green on the 13th hole, potentially necessitating multiple rounds to fully appreciate the subtleties of the course.

Green fees are €275 per person, regardless of the day of the week.
