Foxrock Golf Club

Foxrock Golf Course was established in 1893 and has been situated in the Dublin suburb of Foxrock for over a century. The original 9-hole course was laid out by a golf professional known as Mr. Brown.

In 1914, the course underwent a redesign by the esteemed golf architect Harry Shapland Colt, known for his preference of heathland and parkland courses over traditional links courses. Colt has also designed many other prestigious golf courses around the world.

Notable features of the course include a Short Game Academy area and new bunkers on the third and fourth holes, which were recent additions aimed at enhancing the playing experience. Moreover, the course is recognized as one of the published designs by Harry Shapland Colt, adding to its historical significance.
