Girton Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Cambridgeshire. The club was first formed in 1936.
Girton Golf Course was established in 1936 as a 9-hole course on former farming land and expanded to an 18-hole course in the late 1970s after the freehold was purchased in 1965. Its layout preserves historical Ridge and Furrow features and has evolved into a 6044-yard, par-69 course that is flat but tight, demanding accuracy and control.
In recent years, the course has undergone remodeling with tree and shrub plantings enhancing its ecological diversity and visual aspects, accompanied by an increasing population of wildlife, including black squirrels. Plans are underway to further extend the course and elevate the level of challenge for players.
