The course features an undulating terrain at an elevated location, offering extensive views across the Peak District towards Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Shropshire.

The 18-hole course is characterized by mature landscaping, a variety of trees, several water features, and strategic bunkering, posing a broad range of hazards for golfers of different skill levels.
