Hockley Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Hampshire. The club was first formed in 1914.
Hockley Golf Club was established in 1914 and is located within the western boundary of the South Downs National Park; the course itself is recognized as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). The golf course underwent a remodelling and expansion by James Braid in 1920, marking it with historical significance.
The course occupies land with historical links to the early settlement of Winchester, with evidence of occupation dating back to before 500 BC, and associations with the area's Roman past, particularly near the current 9th green. Although primarily focused on golf, the land's rich historical narrative is reflected in various aspects of the course's design and location.
Visitors can play Monday to Friday after 11:00am for £80, or weekends after 2pm for £85. Twilight golf is available Monday to Friday after 4pm for £48.
To book a tee time, please contact the Professional Shop at 01962 713165 - Option 2, up to 5 days in advance.
