Hull Golf Club

Hull Golf Club was established by the renowned designer James Braid, who is recognized for creating challenging golf courses; the club has a history exceeding a century. The course is known for hosting regional and county amateur and professional tournaments in Northern England.

The golf course presents a mixture of hole varieties from the outset, with the opening four holes offering changes in distance, undulation, and par. Hull's number 1 stroke hole, West Ella, is a notable feature with an out of bounds on the right, requiring strategic play to a sloping fairway and a two-tiered green, where scoring a par 4 is considered an accomplishment.

Hull's feature hole, the 10th, known for recording scores ranging from 1 to 15, is a risk-reward hole that consists of a downhill driveable par 4, challenging golfers with a pond at the front and out of bounds along the right. The latter part of the course, specifically the 17th and 18th holes, are recognized for providing a tough finish to the round.
