About: Huntly Golf Club

Huntly Golf Club is a members' golf club, in North East Scotland. The club was first formed in 1892.

Huntly Golf Course was established in 1892 with the consent of the Duke of Richmond and Gordon and initially consisted of a 9-hole layout advised by Old Tom Morris. Golf was suspended during WW1 and resumed in the summer of 1923, with the course being extended to 18 holes by 1938.

World War II necessitated a reduction of the course back to 9 holes, a configuration that lasted until 1966 when it returned to an 18-hole layout. The ownership of the course was transferred from the landlord to Huntly Golf Club itself in May 1987, solidifying its status.

Visitors can enjoy a round for £30. Winter rates (October-March) are reduced to £20.

A discount is available for a 4-ball at £100. Golf buggies are available to hire at £25 per round.
