Ifield Golf Course was established in 1927 and is located on the west side of Crawley. The mature parkland style course was designed by Frederick George Hawtree and John Henry Taylor the same architects responsible for the redesign of Royal Birkdale in the 1930s.

With a length of 6319 yards and a par of 70, the course layout comprises two loops of 9 holes and has been noted for providing a comprehensive challenge to golfers. Ifield Golf Course has maintained much of its original design and test of play throughout its history.
