Insch Golf Club

The golf course in Insch was first established around Dunnydeer Hill before World War I and relocated to its current location in 1923, but was repurposed as a grenade range by the War Department from 1940 until golf was re-established in 1977. In 1982, the course, built by voluntary labor along Valentine Burn, reopened as a nine-hole course.

Following its reopening, the club expanded in 1987 with a new clubhouse and by 1995 began extending the course by 12 holes on the slopes of Dunnydeer, aiming to create a Parkland course suitable for various skill levels. The extended course was completed in 1996 and inaugurated on June 28, 1997, fulfilling the designers' vision with strategic use of water and trees.

In March 2003, following increased membership and an outdated clubhouse, plans for a modern clubhouse were approved and by April 2004, the new facility opened. Notably, in June 2004, Scottish golf legend Paul Lawrie officially opened the new clubhouse and conducted a coaching session with over 80 junior members.

Summer green fees are applicable from 1st April to 30th September. Weekday rates during this period are £40, and weekend rates are £45. Winter green fees are £20, Monday-Sunday.

Junior rates (under 16) are £12, and seniors rate is £20 all week. Guest rates are £20 all week.
