Of particular note on the course is the 168-yard 5th hole, which is the only par three on the front nine and presents unique challenges due to its positioning among trees and the arrangement of bunkers around its back-to-front sloping green. Another feature is the longest par five on the course, the 546-yard 13th hole, which requires a leftward shot from tee to green, followed by the 16th hole — a difficult 418-yarder with significant bunker protection.

The course also boasts tree-lined fairways, predominantly featuring Silver Birch, and strategically placed bunkers that enhance the playability. There is an intriguing balance of three par threes, three par fives, and a mix of long and short par fours, which includes both the highly strategic 7th hole and the two starting and finishing holes that lead up and down from the clubhouse.
