Kilcoole Golf Club

Kilcoole Golf Club, established in 1992, is a 9-hole parkland golf course located in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. The club, originally privately owned, was bought by its members in 1997 and features a year-round playable course with excellent drainage, minimizing the use of temporary surfaces during winter.

The course presents a largely flat terrain that poses challenges through its design, including a par three to an island green known for its difficulty. Significant features include its sandy base which provides natural drainage and a design that avoids uphill play, catering to players of all ages.

The clubhouse at Kilcoole Golf Club, which opened in November 2001, cost 1.3 million and includes amenities such as bar area, function room, and state-of-the-art locker facilities. An Electronic Point of Sale system is installed for members’ convenience using GUI/ILGU smart cards across various club services.

Golfers at Kilcoole can expect well-maintained playing surfaces with rolling greens that feature subtle slopes. The course offers a range of holes, from the challenging par fours with dog legs and water hazards to par threes that demand accurate club selection.

Green fees at Kilcoole Golf Club range from €35 on weekdays to €40 on weekends. Bookings can be made through the BRS system on the club's website.
