About: Kings Golf Club

Kings Golf Club is a members' golf club, in North Scotland. The club was first formed in 2019.

The Kings Golf Club golf course was established in 2019, constructed on parts of land formerly associated with the Torvean Golf Club that was established around 1962 and was subsequently closed due to infrastructure development in Inverness. The new course, designed by Stuart Rennie, reflects continuity with its predecessor through the integration of the original land in its layout.

Located in Inverness and featuring historical significance, including proximity to the site of an Iron Age fortressattributed to King Brude, the course provides a connection to the region's early historical narrative. The course is also notable for archaeological sites suggesting a storied past, potentially linked to St. Columba's historic interactions with King Brude, and was officially opened on August 30th, 2019 by Bernard Gallacher OBE.

Visitors are welcome seven days a week. Pre-booking is advised, and tee times are subject to availability. For society/group packages, please check out the Societies & Group page for more details.
