The 18 hole course layout consists of two anti-clockwise nine-hole loops that fully utilize the natural terrain, with the front nine crossing Barbon Beck and the back nine offering views of the Howgill Fells.
The course spans 6594 yards from the competition tees and 6244 yards from the daily tees for men, and 5734 yards for women, boasting a par of 72 for each round. Notable features include the challenging signature 17th hole, a par 3 across Barbon Beck, and practice facilities such as a driving range and Academy Course for juniors and beginners.
