Kirkintilloch Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Dunbartonshire. The club was first formed in 1895.
The golf course at Kirkintilloch was established in 1895, having been designed by renowned architect James Braid, and is situated 10 miles north of central Glasgow. Kirkintilloch Golf Course has since undergone a series of developments, with the most recent redesign completed in 2000, as part of a five-year course management plan that included new tees and repositioned bunkers.
Originally a nine-hole course located at Adamslie, Kirkintilloch's club moved to a new site in 1901 and expanded to an 18-hole course by 1914. The land on which the golf course is situated was purchased by the club in 1956 for £3,500, securing its permanence.
Subsequent expansions extended the layout of the course, notably the changes implemented in the 1920s designed by James Braid that were operational by May 3, 1924. In the 1990s, additional land acquisitions facilitated the most recent course reshaping efforts, culminating in the opening of the contemporary 18-hole course on April 1st, 2000.
