Knole Park Golf Club

Knole Park Golf Course was established on November 1, 1924, when Lord Sackville, the landlord of Knole Park estate and a member of Knole Park Golf Club, hit the inaugural drive from the first tee of the course designed by J.F. Abercromby. The course is known for the unique challenge of obstructions, such as anti-glider placements during the war years, which needed significant effort and time to be removed and the course restored.

In the 1960s, the course underwent a significant renovation, including the lengthening of the course to establish a Par 70, and served as a filming location for the Beatles. Subsequent developments included extensions to the clubhouse, the construction of squash courts, and the installation of a sprinkler system to maintain the course. While the designer of the course was J.F. Visitor green fees range from £75 to £100 on weekdays and £90 to £125 on weekends, depending on the season. From November to April, weekday rates are £75, and weekend rates are £90. From May to October, weekday rates are £100, and weekend rates are £125.

Twilight rates are available after 3pm from May to October, costing £70 on weekdays and £75 on weekends. County Card holders receive discounted rates.
