Lansdown Golf Club

Lansdown Golf Club, established in 1894 and originally designed by Harry Colt, is located on the southerly edge of the Cotswold escarpment with expansive views over the Bristol Channel and towards the Brecon Beacons. The course features 6,394 yards, par 71, and is situated on a plateau which provides for a level walk and presents challenges suitable for golfers of varying abilities.

The golf course at Lansdown Golf Club has garnered recognition for its condition and has been awarded the GolfMark and Sport England’s ClubMark Award, signifying the provision of a secure and friendly environment, particularly for junior players. Additionally, the club has obtained the SafeGolf accreditation from England Golf, underscoring its commitment to the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults at risk within the sport of golf.

Visitor rates for September and October 2025 are available. Weekday rates are £35 after 11am. Friday and Sunday rates are £45 before 11am and £40 from 11am to 2pm.

Twilight golf (from 2pm) is available for £25 on weekdays and weekends. County Card holders can play weekdays for £30. Junior visitor rate is £15 weekdays and £20 weekends.
