Linlithgow Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Lothians. The club was first formed in 1913.
The golf course at Linlithgow Golf Club was established in 1913, designed by Robert Simpson, a professional from Carnoustie, with the original layout comprising four holes that are still in play today. The course was later expanded in 1950 to a full 18 holes through the patronage of the MacKinnon family, known for their connection to Drambuie liqueur.
Gena MacKinnon purchased Braehead Farm with the intention to secure land for the golf course's extension, subsequently leasing it to the club. Although Gena MacKinnon did not play golf, she is remembered for her annual involvement in the club's opening ceremonies, and the driver she used is prominently displayed in the clubhouse.
