Maxstoke Park Golf Club

Originally established in 1898, the golf course at Maxstoke Park Golf Club has transitioned through three different locations, finally settling at its current site post-World War II. The course, initially a nine-hole layout constructed around the grounds of Maxstoke Castle, was expanded to a full 18-hole course in 1960.

The design influence of renowned golfers such as Harry Vardon and architect H.S. Colt is notable in the early history of the club. Maxstoke Park is distinctive for its integration with the landscape encompassing mature trees including oaks and horse chestnuts, alongside large lakes and varied wildlife species.

The present 18-hole course, set within over 100 acres of Warwickshire countryside, provides a challenge for golfers at all levels and hosts County and Midland-level matches. The golf course is part of the historical setting which includes the medieval moated Maxstoke Castle, dating from 1345 and currently presided over by Mr. Michael Fetherston-Dilke, the Club President and a member of the long-standing Fetherston-Dilke family owners.

Visitors are welcome at Maxstoke Park year-round. Green fees are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between November and March. Twilight tee times are available at weekends during British Summer Time. For tee time availability and best rates, please click the 'Book Now' button.
