Maylands Golf Course in Essex was designed by Harry Colt, a renowned 20th-century golf course architect, and was established in 1936. The course is characterized by its woodland setting with mature trees and wildlife, featuring gently undulating fairways lined with trees.
The layout includes strategically placed bunkers and water features, providing a challenge for all levels of golfers, while the 18-hole, par-71 championship course is designed as two loops of nine holes starting and finishing near the clubhouse. Maylands has been the host of the PGA Euro Pro Tour on multiple occasions.
Green fees are valid from April 1st to October 31st, 2022. Weekday visitor rates start at £40 before 10:30 am and reduce to £35 between 10:37 and 11:52 am. Twilight rates after 4:00 pm are £20.
Weekend rates are £35 between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, with twilight rates also at £20 after 4:00 pm. County Card holders pay £25 after 11:00 am weekdays and midday on weekends.
